Dr. Daisy Fredricks is an Associate Professor of Teaching and Learning and serves as the Director of Teacher Education at Grand Valley State University. With a focus on Social-Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices, Daisy primarily teaches courses on building and sustaining positive learning environments for PK-12 students to pre-service teachers. Her current research focuses on supporting pre-service and novice teachers who work with multilingual learners in PK-12 classrooms, and she has recently co-authored the book, Core Practices for Teaching Multilingual Students: Humanizing Pedagogies for Equity. Daisy also serves on the Board of Directors for the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan.
