Dina is a Middle School Principal in Glen Lake Community Schools supporting the adolescent brain of amazing students. In her tenure she served as an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction in Ferndale Public Schools where she had the privilege to lead staff to understand the impact that social emotional learning has on adults and in turn students which shined a light on the district to be recognized at the state and national level for putting SEL at the core of their work. As Roosevelt Primary’s Principal she supported the school family to become a National & Michigan School of Character, Michigan Whole Child Award, and Education Excellence Award Winner - a turnaround story that she is proud of! In her career she has been an Early Childhood Special Education Consultant, Adjunct Professor, Assistant Principal and a Varying Exceptionality teacher allowing her to learn from so many children along her educational journey. She has presented at the state and national level and authored several articles relating to the impact of Social Emotional Learning for all age levels.
