Eric Swihart is the Whole Child & Regional School Health Coordinator for Hillsdale and Jackson counties.  He is active as a committee leader and executive team member for MISHCA.  Eric provides technical assistance and training to local schools and community partners in areas related to wellness…Health Curriculum, Physical Education, Instructional Practices, Staff Well-Being, Reproductive Health, Data/Continuous Improvement, etc.  He brings experience as a teacher, principal, curriculum chair, and coach to the team with a passion in preparing students to learn through equitable systems, high expectations, and healthy habits.  Eric is an avid outdoorsman and loves hiking with his dogs, skiing with his wife and daughter, and holding down sunny spots on the beach!  He is a graduate of University of Michigan School of Kinesiology (Go Blue!) and has earned Master’s degrees in Movement Science and Educational Leadership.
