Thank you for your interest in joining the Michigan Social Emotional Learning Alliance (MiSELA)! We are a statewide organization dedicated to advancing social emotional learning (SEL) across Michigan.
MiSELA serves as a clearinghouse for best-practice strategies and resources supporting SEL development from birth through young adulthood. Our mission is to advance, advocate for, and enhance SEL through research, knowledge exchange, and strong partnerships across education, government, and community sectors.
Become an Associate Member
Associate Membership is open to any individual who supports our mission and wants to actively engage in Alliance activities. While Associate Members do not hold voting authority on governance or policy, they are an essential part of our statewide network.
As an Associate Member, you can:
Network Across Sectors: Connect with professionals across early childhood, PKâ12, higher education, policy, and community sectors.
Access Exclusive Resources: Gain full access to MiSELA SEL resources, tools, and best practices.
Join Initiatives: Participate in working groups, committees, and Regional Communities of Practice (CoPs).
Attend Meetings & Events: Attend quarterly MiSELA meetings and receive discounted registration for our bi-annual conferences.
Annual Membership Dues
Standard Rate: $100 per year (Effective July 1, 2026)
Reduced Rate: $25 per year
Available to higher education students, school paraprofessionals, preschool teachers, and daycare workers/assistants.
